AFL's series of Fiber Optic Splice Trays offers a unique and flexible splice and storage system. Available in three industry standard config­urations (mechanical, fusion or ribbon) or as a totally universal kit, the AFL Telecommunications System.

The 12-position splice tray is used as an accessory for fiber cable management products. The tray expands fiber splice capabilities. It also provides the splicing location for the fiber optic cables. The cables are left in the splice tray.The 12-position splice tray may be purchased empty or supplied with a loaded fiber frame. Splice trays are housed in splice drawers. Each ADC 8-inch (20.32 cm) splice module features eight drawers capable of holding up to two single, non-recessed, 12-position splice trays. This single-height splice tray accommodates a variety of splice chips with a capacity up to 192 splices.Splice Trays provides the most flexible and universal fiber storage system available.

Description
Century Fiberoptic Splice Trays secure, organize and store spliced fibers. The 7” and 8.75” trays hold up to 12 fusion or mechanically splices fibers, and the 10” tray holds up to 24 fibers. The 5” width or the trays ensures adequate bend radius at all wavelengths. All trays come with cable ties to secure the buffer tubes to the tray.
