Installing CAT 6 for your home networking needs provides great benefits. First, CAT 6 cable is backwards compatible, so you can use it with a CAT 5e structured wiring system to save on buying new materials and to save on labor costs for replacing obsolete cable in the future. ICC’s new series of Compress and Seal compression style connectors feature excellent performance and stability in both indoor and outdoor environments. The compression connection allows the connectors to be pressed vertically onto the cable without causing awkward bends and distortion to the waveguide cavity thereby minimizing distortions and improving signal quality. The new series of Compress and Seal connectors are designed with internal O-rings that allow for a tighter moisture resistant fit for indoor or outdoor use. The Compress and Seal connectors can be used with RG-59, RG-6, and RG-6 Quad Shield cables. The RCA connectors are available in six colors, red, white, black, yellow, black, blue and green to support a wide variety of applications such as CCTV, CATV, HDTV, and other audio or video systems.

ICC is adding black housings for our 50 and 75 Ohm BNC’s and to the gold banana jack speaker module. The black housings offer an ideal solution for locations with dark wall covering such as, granite, paint, or dark wood. Using our standard black faceplates and the new black housings allows for a hi-tech appearance with the connectors blending into their surroundings giving a clean uncluttered look. They can also be used with alternate colored faceplates to provide two-tone styling. The modular connectors are available for both our residential and commercial product lines and can also be used in our blank patch panels.
